Beer Bowl 2009
The annual fun hat tournament the IFDA Beer Bowl is back with a bang. It's an outdoor tournament, just for the lads (much like a Yorkie bar). It will take place on Saturday December 12th and will be played in Dublin (exact venue is being confirmed, but it's hopeful we'll get the St.Annes pitches in Raheny). All entrants will be fed, have water, get a prize of some variety and a t-shirt. You'll play with a variety of players from around the country and it promises to be a laid back and fun affair.

To sign up go to the IFDA website: www.irishultimate.com and log in. On the left hand side you'll see Sign Up. Click on it and fill in the form. When doing so, please make sure to enter your prefered t-shirt size in the Comments section. Alternatively, you can email us at beerbowlultimate@gmail.com with your name, experience, t-shirt size and we'll sign you up.

Sign up will close on December 7th & payment will be on the day.

Rose Bowl 2009

This year's IFDA Rose Bowl will be taking place on the 12th of December (location to be confirmed but somewhere in Dublin, probably near Clontarf). Entries are being taken now until the 2nd of December. Sign up is possible through www.irishultimate.com or, if you're not signed up to the site, by sending an e-mail to womens@irishultimate.com.

This is an incredibly fun, relaxed tournament that should be encouraged by everyone to attend! If you've never heard of it, it is an all-female hat tournament where teams are made up by picking names out of a hat. You get to play with people of all different experience levels and from anywhere in the country and in the evening we meet up with the boys for a wild night out in town. It's all kept super cheap too.

This is a awesome way to meet new people and learn to play with different styles of Ultimate!

I highly suggest playing signing up for this!

Also to the Girl(s) Rose Bowl is also a great way to meet all the different ladies in Irish Ultimate and you'll learn alot with them!

Zara did it last year and her team ended up winning it.

So book it in your calenders.
